A leaked video from the seventh episode of "Steven Universe" seemed to suggest that there's a brewing romance between Peridot and some alien. The three-second video clip showed Peridot hugging an alien.
Peridot's New Romance
Cartoon Network's hit animated show "Steven Universe" hasn't resumed airtime after its special event "In Too Deep" last May. The hiatus seemed to heighten fans' anticipation for the remaining episodes of season 3.
An alleged promo clip is making rounds on the Internet, showing Peridot embracing a green alien in slow motion.
The description said the teaser came from Cartoon Network Anything mobile app. The three-second video clip is thought to be an official one.
Another promo clip showed Peridot making hand gestures with a tablet, Christian Today reported. The promo clip is said to come from Carton Network's Anything mobile app as well.
Both promo clips seemed not to give anything away in terms of the storyline of "Too Short to Ride."
'Steven Universe' To Resume In July?
It was previously reported that "Steven Universe" will resume its third season in June. However, as June is about to end this week, fans are now expecting that it will be pushed back in July.
Cartoon Network has yet to make an announcement regarding "Steven Universe" official air dates. There are still no updates as of now, this means that "Summer of Steven" will mostly likely take place next month.
Fans would have to satisfy themselves with the leaked promo clips as they await for the remaining episodes of "Steven Universe." The last episode showed "Steven Floats," after which, no concrete details on the coming episodes were revealed.
