iOS 9.3.3 Fourth Beta Now Out For Developers And Testers

Apple has just released fourth betas for iOS 9.3.3 and OS X 10.11.6, both of which are now available for developers and public beta testers. There is a third one in the mix (tvOS) though this will be made available to developers only.

The three betas carry minor updates and come just eight days after the third betas came out in the open. More importantly, the latest OS releases hint at an imminent public release which may be happening soon.

As previous releases, the fourth iOS 9.3.3 beta release is expected to fine-tune device performance and address problems brought about by iOS 9.3.2. So far, nothing alarming has been found and all this could be nothing more than to buy time for the coming of the major operating system bump to iOS 10.

Ironically, the release of the fourth beta of iOS 9.3.3 follows the developer launch of iOS 10. The new iOS is expected to come out in the fall and will offer new features that include a new Lock Screen, improved Messaging apps with its own App store, Siri SDK for developers, new Home apps for HomeKit devices, a redesigned Apple Music app and more according to Mac Rumors.

Speaking of the iOS 10, developers are also eager to see when the second beta release will be out. This holds true as well for other Apple operating systems such as tvOS 10, macOS 10.12 Sierra and watchOS 3.

The four OS platforms were showcased at the WWDC 2016 a couple of weeks ago. iOS beta updates are available from the Apple Developer Center while the El Capitan can be updated through the developer portal or via the Mac App Store software update option.

As far as the tvOS beta update is concerned, users will need a USB-C to USB-A connector cable to physically connect a computer running iTunes and AppleTV according to Apple Insider.
