Myriad Pictures has previously announced that "Jeepers Creepers 3" will go into production this year. But the movie's director Victor Salva’s 1988 conviction brought the production of "Jeepers Creepers 3" to a screeching halt.

This issue has caused the delay for the scheduled filming of "Jeepers Creepers 3" on British Columbia, Canada.
The Union of British Columbia Performers released a warning announcing "Jeepers Creepers 3" director Victor Salva's sex crime with a minor in the past.
"Jeepers Creepers 3" fans feared that Victor Salva's 28-year-old pedophilia conviction will stop the the movie production and the "Cathedral" sequel will not happen anymore.
"Jeepers Creepers 3" director Victor Salva paid his dues and was sent to jail for three years and served 15 months after being convicted of performing a sexual act with child actor Nathan Forest Winters.
Nathan Forest Winters was only 12 years old at the time it happened. He was featured in two of the director's films. The abuse reportedly happened during the shooting of the 1989 film "Clownhouse."
Following his pedophilia conviction, "Jeepers Creepers 3" director Victor Salva stayed under the radar and has not made any films until 1995.

This post gave fans hope that there is still a possibility for a "Jeepers Creepers 3."
Despite Victor Salva's 1988 pedophilia conviction, "Jeepers Creepers 3" producer Stan Spry also reassured fans when he responded to a Twitter user who asked about the fate of "Jeepers Creepers 3."
Stan Spry revealed that "Jeepers Creepers 3" is definitely happening saying, "it is not cancelled. Producers are working on the domestic distribution deal."
That's all the fans needed. Now, the hype for "Jeepers Creepers 3" is back and the anticipation is getting stronger by the minute.
