Tom Clancy’s 'The Division' News & Update: Game Now Under Maintenance & Some Fixes? Details on New 'Heroic Mode' & PGLs Revealed

Tom Clancy's "The Division" by Ubisoft will be having a maintenance for a couple of hours later today. The servers will be closed from midnight PT/3:00 am ET/9:00 CET July 5. It will be closed for three hours so, if you can't log in, follow the link at Ubisoft forums for updates.

Tom Clancy's 'The Division' maintenance fixes

The scheduled maintenance will enable the roll out of update 1.3 on PS4, but take note that you still can't play Underground content. And, for the Xbox console players, the 30-day Xbox exclusivity window on Tom Clancy's "The Division" DLC expires on August 2.

Moreover, enacts a few fixes for Tom Clancy's "The Division" players on Xbox One, including closing a farming loophole. Below are the full patch notes:

  • Deployment of "The Division" Content Update 1.3 for all PlayStation 4 players. This does not enable the content of Expansion I: Underground, which is scheduled for release on Aug. 2, 2016.
  • Developers of Tom Clancy's "The Division" has fixed a bug where High Value Target NPCs were capped at level 30 maximum. According to reports, this will fix the bug where they were not dropping any Target Intel.
  • Aside from that, another Tom Clancy's "The Division" bug wherein players that died after defeating the final encounter would be able to repeat it and gain loots again has also been fixed.
  • Moreover, the good men of Tom Clancy's "The Division" has also fixed instances of server instability that could lead to players being disconnected from the game.

Tom Clancy's 'The Division' 'Heroic mode' and Procedurally Generated Levels

Meanwhile, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.3 update introduced the "Procedurally Generated Levels." Rumor has it that this new feature will let gamers start with a transitional mission above the grounds.

Aside from that, once the players finish the transitional mission, a new passage is said to open to the Rewards Claim Vendor called "The Terminal." Shortly after that, iTechPost claimed that the randomly-generated urban level or dungeons will be given to the players.

Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.3 update has also added some exciting features. As a matter of act, it brought in the much-needed endgame content as well as the inclusion of a new "Heroic" mode and new in-game levels.

To all gamers of Tom Clancy's "The Division," don't be gloomed by the news. This will pass and it will be just a horrible nightmare. The pain in inevitable -- the waiting and wishing -- but it would end. When its done, it will be like new again.
