With its absence during last week's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the iPad Pro 2 is now rumored to be scheduled for release this coming autumn.
After the surprising release of Apple's iPad Pro last year making a mark, many are now speculating for a follow up device. It is expected to be much bigger at 12.9 inches compared to the iPad Pro's 9.7 inches, according to the PC Advisor.
The outlet said that the barely-ten-inch iPad Pro was released during Apple's WWD conference which left many to expect its successor to be released during the same event. Unfortunately, the iPad Pro 2 was a no-show at the event.
With this in mind, the question in the air lingers: When is the iPad Pro 2 going to be released? PC Advisor says that amid a couple of speculations, there is a high probability that the device will not come until autumn.
Apparently, Apple is currently focusing on the roll out of the new generation of Apple's mobile operating system known as iOS 10. The outlet said it is possible that the iPad Pro 2 will only be brought to the spotlight once the iOS update is over with.
Of course, there is still a chance that the Cupertino-based company will be opting for a joint release of a 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 in March 2017, during Apple's conference. What is sure is that it would not see the light of day earlier than September 2016.
Among the expected specifications of the new iPad Pro 2 is an internal memory capacity of 256 GB, similar to that of the iPad Pro 9.7. In terms of outer look, the device is said to be made available in the lovely Rose Gold hue that has gotten MacBook and iPhone users falling head over heels.
Of course, Apple is expected to add more features to the new tablet because, as PC Advisor puts it, "it wouldn't be Apple if there weren't some features not seen before on an iPad." Price ranges for the bigger iPad Pro 2 is pegged to be between $799 and $1,229.
