'Steven Universe' Season 3 To Feature a New Gem and an All New Musical Episode this July

It's almost time for the extended "Steven Universe" Season 3 and things are becoming more interesting for the anime series.

According to reports, a new Gem is expected to join Steven Universe, but that's not all, the extended season is also going to air the all new musical episode this August. Bismuth, the latest Gem to join Steven Universe will be voiced by Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black) and she rejoins the Crystal Gems after 5,000 years.

Bismuth is said to have joined the Crystal Gems in saving the Earth thousands years ago and their reunion will bring another new experience for Steven and the Crystal Gems. According to Entertainment Weekly, the arrival of Bismuth is the only thing that is seen to add in the Steven Universe expansion. However, the upcoming episodes of Steven will start featuring some all new musical episodes like that of "Mr. Greg."

In August, fans will see Bismuth in a 22-minute episode and it will feature some of its history with the Crystal Gems leading to how they met again after 5,000 years. "Mr Greg" on the other hand which airs on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 will see through Steven's dad suddenly becoming rich that he takes his own son and Pearl with him in experiencing the "Empire Life." And if you're wondering how Bismuth will react when she sees what ever happened to the Crystal Gems after that fateful battle against the Homeworld Gems, you will have to stay tuned on the progress of Steven Universe Season 3 episodes.

The next episodes of Steven Universe Season 3 will include "Drop Beat Dad," "Mr. Greg," "Too Short to Ride," "The New Lars" and "Beach City Drift."
