There is no denying that "Outlander" Season 3 is now among the much-anticipated installments set to be released within 2016. Rumor mill is spreading that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are already filming for the forthcoming "Outlander" Season 3.
Sources have claimed that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were sighted together with some cameramen. However, no enough proof could verify these claims.
In an interview with Scotland Now, "Outlander" Season 3 producers Ron Moore has revealed that the cast will start filming for the impending installment early Fall or late Summer. He added that fans should be expecting new more twists and turns in "Outlander" Season 3 as the production has hired new writers.
Though it was previously rumored that the "Outlander" Season 3 is set to film some scenes in the U.S., Ron Moore has announced that nothing is final as of yet but it is confirmed to be far from reality. The showrunner even said Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and the rest of the cast will be spending most of their time in Scotland and Paris.

Duncan LaCroix said that fans should prepare themselves as the might cry countless tears in the upcoming "Outlander" Season 2 finale. Meanwhile, "Outlander" Season 3 is said to be following the plot of the "Voyager" book by Diana Gabaldon.
