Top 5 Superhero Games We Would Like To See Made

Superheroes are dominating the box office and have finally started to get some great games like the Batman: Arkham Series. Here are five games based on comic book heroes that I would like to see made.

 5. Hulk Vs. Red Hulk:

General "Thunderbolt" Ross is arguably the greatest villain in the Hulk's stable of enemies. Ross has pursued the creature since almost the beginning, but in 2008, Ross first appeared as the Red Hulk, a beast strong enough to go blow for blow with the Green Goliath. Can you imagine a game where these two fought through a completely destructible environment? Give the players the ability to switch between the two Hulk, sort of like how "The Ultimate Spider-Man," did with Venom and Spider-Man.

4. Daredevil:

This one seems like a super easy property to make into a good video game. Daredevil is basically human like Batman, but has heightened senses. A developer would just need to combine the detective mode of the Arkham series and the mobility and agility of current generation Spider-Man games. Daredevil's nickname is "the Man Without Fear" and gamers should feel like they are an apex predator against small-level criminals.

3. Ghost Rider:

This game would be based off of the comics and not the hairpiece seen in the Nicholas Cage films. I grew up reading the Danny Ketch version of the Ghost Rider and would like to see him star in his own video game. Gangsters attacked Daniel and his sister Barbara. Deathwatch grievously wounds his sister; Daniel flees and finds a motorcycle bearing a mystical sigil. Upon touching the sigil, he was transformed into the Ghost Rider. I think the game play could have some road vehicle combat similar to the "Road Rash" series. The Danny Ketch version of Ghost Rider has appeared as a guest character in Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety, offering the player assistance when called upon.

2. Superman

It is time that Superman gets his own blockbuster video game! The last Son of Krypton, has had a horrendous history in the virtual world. With Zack Snyder's film "The Man of Steel," on the horizon it is the perfect time to give the character a great game. I think the one thing that has prevented the hero from a great game is his powers and how to utilize them in a compelling narrative. Superman needs a villain to push him to the brink and the enemy that accomplished the most, by actually killing Superman, is the raging monster Doomsday. The Death and Return of Superman was the last fun Superman game I played and that was on the SNES. It is time to base a new game on the Death of Superman storyline.

1. Venom:

The Lethal Protector has appeared in several Spider-Man games including side-scrolling beat 'em up video games Maximum Carnage and Separation Anxiety. He was also playable in "The Ultimate Spider-Man." I would like the Eddie Brock version of Venom in his own game with no help from the web-head. I would base the game around his period of vigilantism, where he crossed paths with other superheroes and anti-heroes such as the Punisher, Wolverine, Daredevil, Iron Man and Vengeance. I would like to see this game keep some of the free-roam webslinging of Spider-Man games, but let us feel like we can go toe-to-toe with the Juggernaut.
