‘Street Fighter V’ DLC Pack Latest News, Release Date & Update: $25 Expansion Now Up

The Evo fighting game tournament is expected to get underway this weekend and Capcom may have just sweetened the pot with the latest “Street Fighter V” DLC pack.

The “Street Fighter V” DLC is something pegged to help fund the Pro Tour’s prize pool, something that fans will surely love according to Capcom. The expansion will see “Chun-Li” and “Cammy” having new “Capcom Cup Collection” costumes, something that should fit in well with the planned Capcom Cup 2016 once officially launched.

Capcom Pro Tour stage

Aside from the ones mentioned, there is also a new Capcom Pro Tour-themed stage which can be purchased for $10. Presently promoting EVO, Game Spot notes that the level will be updated frequently with new banners and images dependent on the events tied up to the Capcom Pro Tour.

The price for the whole package

Gamers may want to get the whole lot and can do so. All of these new “Street Fighter V” DLC pack can be bought for $25. The Capcom Pro Tour Premier Package bundle will thus include the stage, all three costumes, an exclusive color option for all 22 characters and two exclusive titles (Capcom Cup 2016 and Capcom Pro Tour 2016).

It should be noted that none of the offers will be available on the “Street Fighter V” game’s season pass. To date, most are already available on the PC and PS4 except for the mystery costumes. The items will only start selling by November before the Capcom Cup finals.

As far as the Capcom Cup is concerned, the prize pool is expected to grow though a lot of that will depend on the amount of downloads. The actual figures remain a mystery though other games like “Dota 2”, “Smite” and “Halo 5” are also contributing to help the prize pool grow.

On a related note, “Street Fighter V” will now also bring new fixes to address issues involving certain characters.
