WWE Rumors 2016: Vince McMahon Done With Roman Reigns?

The WWE continues to struggle even with Roman Reigns out of the picture and Vince McMahon is obviously upset. Further, the WWE chairman is reportedly livid at Reigns who he believed would be the next face of the WWE.

Roman Reigns is serving a 30-day suspension following his failure to comply with the WWE’s talent wellness policy. That development somehow put a damper on the WWE Battleground main event featuring Reigns, Seth Rollins and current WWE champion Dean Ambrose.

With Reigns forcibly indisposed, Ambrose and Rollins have to build on the upcoming WWE PPV on their own. The main card remains a Triple Threat match though the “Big Dog” is slowly becoming the odd man in the mix.

McMahon could change the main card

With WWE Battleground only a week away, changes could still happen. And the best person to do such a bold act is no other than Vince McMahon.

He has done it before though those were made due to urgent reasons. The one involving Reigns is not considered to be a big deal though word that he is pretty upset does not speak well for the “Big Dog”.

If the WWE wanted to change the script, they should have done so by now. But a look at WWE.com show that the main card is still official with changes (if any) more likely happening this week.

One-on-One instead?

The safest way to preserve the main card is to arrange a plain one-on-one match between Ambrose and Rollins. It makes a ton of sense if shows are to be counted.

And Reigns? He could technically come in during or after the match. If the WWE wants to continue and push Reigns, all that could follow after the match is settled.

If not during the PPV, the WWE could opt to bring back Reigns on the WWE Raw the night after Battleground. The scenario is a bit critical which means the WWE creative team will be tasked to come up with something to make all things work.
