  • (apple.com) Apple responded to complaints of the purple haze in photos, saying that it is “normal behaviour” for the new iPhone 5, caused mainly due to angling of the camera.

Apple has reportedly begun to ship its recently unveiled iPhone 5.

According to the AppleInsider, a delivery update from UPS has shown that the shipment began transit from ZhengZhou in China Sept. 16. However, the packages would not be delivered until the release date of the device, which is Sept 21.

Though the Apple website says "preparing for shipment," if we check the status of the order with the reference number, the product has already been shipped, AppleInsider said. There have been instances when the iPhone pre-orders for certain customers have reached earlier than the product launch date.
