Earlier this year CBS released a statement that all of its first-year shows will be given second-season offer. Obviously it didn't work out that way, but with "Supergirl" being renewed at The CW, many "Limitless" fans were hoping that the show will have that same chance as well.

"Limitless" fans can't seem to fathom as to why would CBS let go of such an amazing show? Fans are clearly frustrated by CBS not renewing "Limitless" for season 2 and they are even more mad that no other outlets, like Netflix, would pick up "Limitless" Season 2!
Fans are outraged that "Supergirl" got so lucky and was picked up by CBS' sister network, while nobody even bothered giving "Limitless" Season 2 a chance.
The two major outlets that were being considered to pick up "Limitless" Season 2 were Netflix and Amazon.
Unfortunately, even with a good cast and an already established title, "Limitless" was not picked up by Netflix and Amazon for "Limitless" season 2.
Netflix is currently streaming "Limitless" Season 1, giving fans hope that the outlet is testing the waters if "Limitless" Season 2 is worth to be picked up.

Unfortunately, the fate of "Limitless" Season 2 remains unknown and there's a high chance that it will never be picked up at all.
This lead one "Limitless" fan to start an online petition in Care 2 Petitions with the title "Renew Limitless for Season 2."
The "Limitless 2" petition goal is to reach 4,000 supporters and so far the "Limitless 2" petition has already reached over 3,000 names!
