The "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie is actually in the works. A couple of stars are slated to be part of the cast.

Deadline noted that Marvel had a Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, which featured the new "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" trailer. James Gunn headed the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" presentation.

Other "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" cast members were also onstage, namely Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Debicki, PomKlementieff, Kurt Russell and Michael Rooker.

The crew of the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie initially showed the first footage of the movie. A full scene showed Yondu (Rooker) and Rocket (Bradley Cooper) escaping from a jail cell and heading for what seems to be a huge space station. Baby Groot was also on hand to offer some support.

As for the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" trailer, it started with a lot of action among the main characters while they battle an alien force that is trying to enter the universe.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie happens just a few months after the original film and the team is still very cohesive when dealing with threats.

There were also several funny exchanges, which fans loved in the first movie. One scene showed Star Lord (Pratt) apologizing to Rocket for referring to him as a raccoon, adding that he really meant to call him a trash panda.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" trailer proceeded to name the different cast members who will be in the new movie, such as Stallone, who was suited as a Nova Corps member, and Russell.

One scene also showed Ego explaining to Star Lord how he took on the form of a human being. Drax (Bautista) also asked whether he made a penis for himself.
