In the latest episode of Rizzoli & Isles, Jane, aside from fulfilling her duty as a detective in the police department, she also went undercover and checked into jail just so she can further, but secretly investigate a case.
The case involves the murder of a bicyclist wherein, one of the main suspect challenges the expertise of Dr. Maura in the part of scientific investigation and of course, Detective Rizzoli's intelligent approach to such type of investigation.
Although her stay in jail did not actually give her any direct clues to the crime, at the end of the investigation, she learned some things that may help her in solving the crime outside the prison. With the help of Dr. Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander), showrunner Jan Nash thinks, "Rizzoli & Isles" have the perfect investigative partnership.
Meanwhile, Angie Harmon in real life shared her experience directing the 100th episode of the series. In her interview with TVGuide, she revealed that, she's supposed to start directing as early as season 2 of the show, but her schedule just didn't allow her.
She also admitted feeling nervous when she started directing "Rizzoli & Isles" Season 7, episode 8 entitled 2M7258-100. Besides it's the show's 100th episode, Harmon also acts as the director and actor of the episode. "Rizzoli & Isles" Season 7 has five more remaining episodes mainly 65 Hours, For Richer or Poorer, Stiffed, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow and Ocean Frank.
