‘Grey's Anatomy Season 13' Release Date Confirmed and New Spoilers

'Grey's Anatomy Season 13' Returns on ABC This Fall

Fans of "Grey's Anatomy Season 13" will have something to mark on their calendars as the hit medical drama is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, September 22 on ABC. The medical anthology has been one of the few tv series that received enough attention after most of its original characters decide to leave the show.

Now, it looks like the Shondaland is all set to hype another new season with brand new storylines. This week, the latest on "Grey's Anatomy Season 13" spoilers reveal that April (Sarah Drew) and Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) friendship may become even more apparent and could lead to more scenes about their characters in "Grey's Anatomy Season 13."

How could they not, when both of them share the same family problems; Arizona on her recent divorce with Callie (Sara Ramirez) and April's failing marriage with Jackson (Jesse Williams). Meanwhile, spoilers about Maggie's (Kelly McCreary) possible reaction to her half sister Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) having a relationship  with Nathan (Martin Henderson) remains unknown. Possibly because Meredith has been so good at keeping her relationship with him underwraps.

Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) might also play the peacekeeper between Maggie and Meredith. But it's also highly expected that she will lean more on Maggie as she feels the pain of her loss. Amelia on the other hand is still fresh from her honeymoon after she married Dr. Owen (Kevin McKidd) in a highly antagonized wedding celebration.

Meanwhile, showrunner Shonda Rhimes added the hype on the upcoming "Grey's Anatomy Season 13" after she posted a clip on twitter that suggests, the whole team including the cast have started meeting for the new season. Are you excited to see the all new "Grey's Anatomy Season 13" this year?
