Nordic Games’ “Darksiders” will be getting a remastered version with the announcement of the Warmaster Edition. The new version is compatible with the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.
Remastered with better graphics
That date or release is set for Oct. 25 coming with key improvements since its release back in 2010. Among those new features include 4K support and video options for the PC version and running on native 1080p for game consoles.
Gameplay is expected to be improved and smoother, with the “Darksiders” Warmastered Edition, expected to perform better with 60 frames per second on the PS4, PC, and the Xbox One. Wii U users will have to settle for just 30 frames per second.
Among the changes to expect for “Darksiders” Warmastered Edition via Game Spot include improved texture resolutions, better graphics rendering, and improved post-processing effects.
Some European sites already gave gamers a glimpse of things to come for “Darksiders” Warmastered Edition as it tries to align with the performance of its sequel “Darksiders II”.
The “Darksiders” Warmastered Edition will retail for $20 and promise to be a better version that its 2010 release.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and is influenced by other games such as “God of War” and “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Time”. It offers a wide world for adventurers to explore offering a mix of combat and puzzle-solving.
Players will be initially classed as an enforcer as they try to balance things out between heaven and hell. The twist pops up when humanity is wiped out thanks to “The Destroyer”.
Being an enforcer for the “Charred Council”, you are charged with the crime of upsetting the balance and eventually sent back to Earth to find answers.
