‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Latest News & Update: Game Series Soon be on Theaters? Now Best Selling PS4 Game of 2016?

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is popularly known as an action-adventure third-person shooter video game that is developed by Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched it for the PlayStation 4 console. It was released worldwide on May 10, 2016. It is the sequel to the "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" video game.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has set a record of 2.7 million sales on its first week's release. According to Parent Herald, the game is now the best-selling PlayStation 4 game since August 2016. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has earned a total of $56 million from micro transactions and downloads based on its digital sales report.

Even if it is exclusively for the PlayStation 4, it still managed to pull in the most revenue of that month. To allow extra manufacturing time, the release of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was delayed by two weeks as stated by PlayStation.com, it is because of the worldwide demand for the game, and Sony made the right decision.

According to Nashvillechatter, many fans are looking forward for the "Uncharted" series to be in a movie, Naughty dog hires a new screenwriter. According to reports, the movie is already in the works probably a year or so. The production house and Naughty Dog has been modifying multiple aspects of the film to get the best out of it. Besides, they have millions of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" fans and devoted followers, making it the most-played Sony's PlayStation game.

Joe Carnahan is going to be in charge for the screenplay. He will play an integral role in leading the team to its perfect Hollywood iteration of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" and the rest of the game series. Joe has an advantage on action packed screenplay because the screenwriter already worked on some successful films like A-team, Narc and The Grey.

He has already handled characters similar to "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" character Nathan Drake who loves to walk into unknown territories and come out with flying colors. Rumors claim that the PlayStation 4 exclusive game is going to be the last in the series. If you are a die-hard fan of the series, just hope that they will deliver it by 2017 or later.

The development team is planning to work on a new IP so as to keep the hype going with the next gen PS4.5 or maybe the PS5 console. It is time to give "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" character Nathan Drake a break as they have done so many versions of him.
