'Pokemon GO' Windows Phone Release Date, News, & Update: Niantic Update Breaks Down PoGo App on Windows Phones? New Update In The Making?

"Pokemon GO" is currently the hit game that is released for Android and iOS only. However, a company named ST-Apps that is working on a third party "Pokemon GO" app especially made for Windows 10 Mobile. It was reported that the anticipated game "Pokemon GO" has been available for Windows phone after a petition gathered thousands of signatures and PoGo UWP app was released right away.

PoGo-UWP App Broke Down

The third-party application was created for the Windows user to be able to play the said game. But after the recent update of "Pokemon GO," the app can no longer be used as their API has been shut down.

The developer Kaankehh has no plans on fixing the issue so the PoGo-UWP app will be forever done. He also recently posted a statement regarding the issue on their GitHub page. He stated that the makers of the API that was ruined are looking into this problem but is not really sure if they can fix it and get it to work again for they know Niantic will only add more encryptions. But he promised that he will keep players updated and left a Reddit link for the current API status.

Latest Update Of The PoGo-UWP App

On the developer's GitHub page, Kaankehh has had a very productive day as he posted a latest update saying that out of the remaining new unknown portions of the requests, they have already discovered three. The remaining requests are already understood and now have a request generator on the works which he considered as the next major milestone in completing the said API.

But he also made it clear that this does not mean a fix will be available in the future sure. It just means that their team has made a big progress.
