‘Battlefield 1’ Open Beta Latest News, Release Date & Update: Exciting Features, New Stuff Set For October [VIDEO]

The “Battlefield 1” beta test release is shaping up to be something to look forward to, something that could come out this October.

A trailer showing off the weapons for the upcoming first-person shooting game already gave “Battlefield 1” gamers a glimpse of things to come but everyone knows that artillery is not the only thing important for the game. A video of that reveal can be viewed below.

Creators Play “Battlefield 1” beta

EA Dice is in the best position to see if they have a blockbuster game in their hands and the best critics to affirm that would be the senior producers. Aleksander Grondal bared that developers have already played the “Battlefield 1” open beta which is allegedly filled with new features and surprises.

What exactly are the new stuff to look forward to on “Battlefield 1” open beta?

Maps

Maps are the ones leading the way where four have already been revealed. These are “Amiens," “The Saint Quentin Scar," “Monte Grappa” and “Empire’s Edge."

Gamers should take note that being an open beta, “Battlefield 1” will likely hold off other maps that will be included. There is a chance that more than four would be revealed though it would be safe to keep the anticipation conservatively for now.

New Game Modes

Aside from maps, additional game modes could be up as well. There are already three game modes confirmed – “Conquest”, “Domination” and “Operation”. There is no official word yet on whether these could be included in the open beta but EA Dice encourages gamers to check back for potential updates.

“Battlefield 1” open beta is widely believed to be present at Gamescom 2016 which will be held from Aug. 17 to 21. These are the only details out in the open for now though gamers will pray to see more from the open beta or the full release which is set for Oct. 21.

Battlefield Insiders can reportedly play “Battlefield 1” open beta three days before everyone else. Gamers who want in can register for access here.
