'Final Fantasy XV' Latest News & Updates: Digital Preorder Exclusives Revealed

"Final Fantasy" fans, good news: Square Enix has finally announced the bonus preorder items for the "Final Fantasy XV" Digital Premium Edition, and it looks great for those getting the game early. The items will vary by console, but will consist of similar items.

GameSpot reports that the biggest bonus for those preordering "Final Fantasy XV" is the Masamune legendary weapon for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One players. Meanwhile, Xbox One players get a Noctis costume for their avatars, while Playstation 4 players get the game's soundtrack and an angler set that would make for a better fishing experience, among other things.

This is on top of all the other extras "Final Fantasy XV" buyers are getting, such as the alternate cover art in all regional versions of the game. It looks like Square Enix is really making a big push for this "Final Fantasy," which, along with the upcoming remake of "Final Fantasy VII," stands to change the way the game has been played for the longest time.

Other than the Masamune, there's not that much valuable extras to get from the "Final Fantasy XV" bundle. (If you're a fan of "Final Fantasy" music, though, you better be playing on the Playstation.) "Final Fantasy XV" is officially coming out next month on September 30, and the Digital Premium version, with the main game and the season pass, is going for $85. You can also get the preorder bonuses if you buy the regular version and get the season pass upgade for $25 to get the six expansions that are coming after.

There hasn't been any definitive news of "Final Fantasy XV" coming to the PC, however, even though Square Enix has let word slip that they're considering porting it over to the PC. If it does happen, though, don't expect any similar preorder bonuses for PC players, unfortunately.
