'The Crow' Reboot Release Date, News & Update: Jason Momoa Hints Sealing The Deal; Confirms He's In The Talks!

"The Crow" reboot is already in the plan since time immemorial. Unfortunately, Relativity Media faced a number of problems, from the remake's storyline to its director, stars and financial problems. However, it looks like the film company already redeemed itself and about to pursue this project.

Jason Momoa Hints Leading 'The Crow' Reboot

"The Crow" reboot could finally come to life as there are swirling rumors that Jason Momoa will be its lead star and will be directed by Corin Hardy, according to Slash Film. The 37-year-old star known for his famous stint as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" is, allegedly, in talks to do the classic 1994 movie. In fact, he recently shared a snap on his Instagram page with "The Crow" reboot director himself.

“The only way to officially seal the deal as men is a pint of black beauty. @guinness,” Jason Momoa captioned their photo. Although the hunky model didn’t mention anything about “The Crow” reboot, his hashtags might work as hints. He used “great news to come,” “dream job” and “can’t wait to tell the world,” which may pertain that he would be the next Eric Draven, famously played by Brandon Lee.

Jason Momoa Now In Talks To Do The Reboot

Meanwhile, Mashable confirmed that Jason Momoa is indeed in the talks to do “The Crow” reboot. This might surprise fans of the neo-noir fantasy movie that the “Aquaman” star will play the role of a rock musician. Evidently, he is hunkier compared to Brandon Lee, but he also has the sinister, dangerous and, of course, ragged look.

Jason Momoa is just one of the many movie actors that Relativity Media chooses from to star “The Crow” reboot. Aside from the beefy writer-producer, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans, and Norman Reedus are also part of the list. Also, with all his projects and busy schedule, he definitely has to make time doing “The Crow” reboot as there are claims that it will be released earlier than “Aquaman,” which is set to be out in 2018.
