Ian Somerhalder has already revealed in previous interviews that Damon Salvatore is really saying goodbye in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. It can be recalled that the brother of Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) got locked up inside the vault under The Armory alongside Enzo St. John (Michael Malarkey).

Sources claim that Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) will no longer be able to go out from the vault. This then sparked another rumors that Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev will be ending up with Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
