'Vikings' Season 4B Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Lagertha Has A New Woman Lover? Ragnar Dying?

Fans are set to see the evolution of their favorite Norse seafarers in the return of "Vikings" Season 4B. As the historical drama television series is about to jump six years after its previous half season, a new story is about to be unfolded.

Lagertha Has A New Woman Lover?

History recently gave fans a glimpse of "Vikings" Season 4B's on-set filming by releasing official snaps, as per International Business Times. In the promotional snaps, Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) and Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) are seen quite worn-out wearing the same identical, flimsy gray beards. Although the two warriors look a little trampled and scruffy, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is evidently seen with a glow on her face while standing in the grassland.

There might be a reason behind the shieldmaiden's invaluable radiance as there are swirling rumors that she has a new lover in a personality of a woman. The show's creator Michael Hirst told Entertainment Weekly that Legertha will have a new romance in the return of "Vikings" Season 4B. "There's a new female character called Astrid [played by Josefin Asplund]. She's become a part of Lagertha's life. They are in a relationship," the 63-year-old screenwriter said.

Ragnar Dying In 'Vikings' Season 4B

Meanwhile, there are also assumptions that Ragnar would die in the upcoming "Vikings" Season 4B, iTech Post reported. The 37-year-old star might only be seen in a short stint as he might meet his death in the return of the drama series. It has been said that Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) will betray the founder of House Lothbrok that might cause his death, but there are a lot of emerging theories about his demise.

Ragnar might find his way back to Kattegat to retrieve the throne from his son, Ivar the Boneless, or he might see his downfall in "Vikings" Season 4B. There is also a historical notion that Ragnar will die in King Aelle's pit of snakes or in a battle or as a prisoner. Hence, it looks like fans have to wait until this fall for the coming of "Vikings" Season 4B.
