‘Pokemon Uranium’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: Access Link Available Online After 1.5 Million Downloads

Did "Pokemon Uranium" manage to steal the limelight from "Pokemon Go?" It is not just exceptional but a noteworthy success in its own right with 1.5 million downloads before Nintendo's legal action to shut it down. The game cannot be downloaded from their main site any longer but a fan posted a mirror site at Reddit so fans can still access it, discuss strategies on how to overcome obstacles, network with other players in order to conduct trade and even report some bugs the app may have.

Developers of "Pokemon Uranium" game have not only worked hard but also unceasingly for almost ten years to make it to PC. Now, that's a lot of hard work and commitment. With the craze "Pokemon Go" is enjoying recently, "Pokemon Uranium" will surely share the same popularity.

Interestingly, Twitch, one of the creators and builders of "Pokemon Uranium," has put in circulation that the fan-made video game will not be available in their website any longer. Although lawyers of Nintendo have issued several takedown notices, there is no way of stopping the distribution of the game.

As mentioned, the attention-grabbing "Pokemon Uranium" was conceptualized and created for PC.  It comes in a .msi package and that means anyone interested to play the game can still have access to it anytime of the day. Similar to the original reality game, this game also features 150 new creatures that need to be captured and defeated. It has even a nuclear "Pokemon" character, which is not in the original Niantic game, and features a lengthy and captivating story set in Tandor Region. The player of the game needs to collect Gym Badges.

A dedicated "Pokemon Uranium" website is dedicated to helping players with a step by step guide on how to patch the game manually. Developers of the game insist that the game is solely for entertainment, and that they have no financial agenda in mind or anything else. An addition to the Niantic game is "Pokemon Sun and Moon," now an authentic franchise of the company, will be out on the market on November for Nintendo 3DS.
