With the recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the market, reports state that the Samsung flagship has some similarities with the upcoming Google Nexus 2016 that will launch soon. To help you choose with this problem, here is a quick rundown.

Google Nexus 2016 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have the same physical features such as the S Pen, Iris Scanner, wide screen display and a long battery life are some noticeable with the two variants. However, under the hood is what we are looking for and some consumers are concerned about.

For starters, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a screen display of 5.7 inches with QHD and AMOLED resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also has a Gorilla Glass 5 for protection when the phone is accidentally dropped from a short height with the addition of the Iris Scanner to unlock the phone or verify a user's accounts online.

Google Nexus 2016, on the other hand, will release two kinds of smartphones in the upcoming months, which comes with codenames such as Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish. The two variants will come with a 5 inch and 5.5 inch screen display for Marlin and Sailfish, along with an AMOLED screen, resolution display of 2560 x 1440 and 1920 x 1080 and a fingerprint scanner at the back panel of the phones.

The Google Nexus 2016 models are defeated by Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when it comes to the battery life. The Google variants have a 3,450 mAh and 2,770 mAh battery, while Samsung sports a 3,500 mAH battery.

Meanwhile, Google Nexus 2016 devices and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with a 4GB of RAM, but these devices have different on the internal storage. The Google Nexus 2016 devices can only store 32GB and 128GB, while Samsung can store 64GB and is expandable to a whooping 256GB.

When it comes to operating system, the Google Nexus 2016 devices have bigger advantage than the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Google Nexus 2016 devices are said to feature the Android 7.0, while Samsung is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. These smartphones, however, sport the same camera features with a 12 megapixel at the back portion and 8 megapixel at the front part.

Despite the fact that no official release dates were announced as to when are the Google Nexus 2016 devices will be launched, reports stated that it will be in September 2016 with an expected price of $500. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has already been launched with a price of $834.
