'Star Wars: Battlefront' Latest News & Update: Rogue One DLC To Get Tropical Maps; Release Date, Film-Related Features Revealed! [Trailer]

Star Wars: Battlefront will be getting a Rogue One DLC on December 16 with an exciting part in connection to Disney film, Stars Wars: Rogue One.

Star Wars: Battlefront is said to be the fourth and final instalment for Star Wars. DICE had already confirmed that Battlefront will be focusing on the planet Scarif that will introduce the new movie, the Star Wars: Rogue One. This planet is said to be tropical as it is known to have many beaches.

According to Movie News Guide, Electronic Arts had the release date of Star Wars: Rogue One moved to December next year instead of the original schedule in early 2017. These changes will allow gamers to have fun and enjoy more the upcoming final DLC and the Star Wars: Rogue One movie that is said to be released on the same day this coming Winter season.

The film Star Wars: Rogue One is expected to be out on cinemas on December 16. As for now, fans can enjoy the latest official trailer of the upcoming movie.

The article added that the official date for the release of the final pack is said to be announced after the release of the Death Star expansion. The official website of the game also confirmed that fans who have a Season Pass can have their latest DLC 4 two weeks before the official release date.

The Star Wars: Battlefront expansion will have two new playable characters. Jyn Erso, who is played by Felicity Jones in the movie, will be playing as a hero and Director Orson Krennic, who on the other hand is played by Ben Mendelsohn, by will join the cast as a villain.

As with its price, Rogue One DLC could possibly be available for $15 if it is bought individually. The three expansions of Star Wars: Battlefront will be available for $50 Season Pass.
