Has the friendly competition among the two tech giants turned into something stiff with Microsoft's latest ad featuring Surface Pro 4? The television commercial slams Apple which claims that its iPad Pro is also a computer. The ad is, in fact, titled as "What's A Computer?" Apple's boast is equipped with an optional and detachable keyboard. It has a touchscreen and a pen which makes it better than any other gadgets in the market and can be the best choice to replace your laptop.
Meanwhile, Microsoft's advertisement which is labelled "What's a computer? Just ask Cortana" specifically targets Apple's iPad Pro. It highlights that the Surface Pro 4 is the real computer because it is run by a powerful Intel processor. It can, of course, run full Office apps.
Microsoft's claims on the superiority of Surface Pro 4 are in truth, according to Windows Central. It has a processor of Intel Core i7, and, as mentioned, can run the full Office application. iPad Pro can only run the mobile version of the Office. The addition of Microsoft's trackpad is an excellent feature, more so with the external USB ports which the iPad Pro has not been able to adapt.
Microsoft's advertisement shows its personal assistant, Cortana, having a conversation with Apple's Siri which claims that it is also a computer just like Windows 10's virtual PA. Cortana politely tells Siri that having a keyboard does not make it a computer!
Cortana is a wonderful addition to all Windows 10 app. It is very smart in accessing your files, folders and calendars. It seems to know exactly what you want! Just like Apple's digital assistant, it is responsive to voice commands and sounds pleasant to the ears, if one may add.
