The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games have made headlines lately after Niantic officially unveiled the pokemons that will be added in the games, which will also be given a new look called Alola forms. The latest pokemon to be included in the game is the Sandcastle pokemon.

However, looks can be deceiving for this "Pokemon Sun and Moon" creature as it devours its enemies in a ground. Also, Sandcastle pokemon has a new ability that no other pokemon has ever possessed in the entire franchise.

New Pokemons in 'Pokemon Sun and Moon'

The official pokemon website posted that the sandy pokemon will make an appearance in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" along with videos of the new pokemons in the game. The video shows how the new pokemons fight in battle and also their cool skills use to fight enemy creatures.

This mysterious "Pokemon Sun and Moon" creature is called Sandygast. It is a Ghost/Ground-Type pokemon that hides in the sand and manipulates children into gathering more sand to increase the pokemon's body. Sandygast has a shovel in its head that the pokemon uses to take anyone into the pokemon's control.

Sandygast also has an ability called Water Compaction. The ability is said to increase when the pokemon is hit by a Water-Type of attack. The ability Sandygast possesses is one of a kind, which makes this "Pokemon Sun and Moon" creature a must have!

Meanwhile, the first Sandygast evolution is Palossand. Reports say that it is also a Ghost/Ground pokemon in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games, which has an ability to drag pokemons into its body to steals its life force. The vortex can swallow any pokemon in an instant that leaves its prey's ill will behind.

Palossand also controls adults to make sandcastles to provide camouflage for the pokemon and raises its defensive abilities while in the sandcastle. If Palossand lost some of sand in its body, this "Pokemon Sun and Moon" creature can restore it for itself, unlike Sandygast.

There are also other pokemons featured in the video in "Pokemon Sun and Moon, but the Ghost/Ground-Type pokemon is the only creature that caught the attention of most fans. Additionally, a picture of Pikachu being swallowed by Palossand is also featured on the official webpage of Pokemon.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games are set to arrive in Nov. 8, 2016. For more "Pokemon Sun and Moon" news and update, stay tuned to GamenGuide!
