‘Dragonball Xenoverse 2’ Latest Rumors, Release Date & Update: Co-Op Game Revealed, Open Beta Happening

“Dragonball Xenoverse 2” players finally got a glimpse of things to come at GamesCom 2016 thanks to the trailer showing how co-op gamers can take down the big bosses.

The combat trailer for “Dragonball Xenoverse 2” showed how players could work together including how to deal with the “Great Apes”. This is the form that the Saiyans can turn into when they are exposed to a full moon.

“Vegetta” is best known as the character that transformed into one when he went up against “Goku”, a prime reason why the Saiyans were able to take over “Planet Plant” and “Truffles”, Forbes reported.

Mission mode and more

GamesPress reveals that the 6 vs. 1 Expert Mission mode should be something to look forward to, something that will force players to plan strategically to take down the powerful NPC bosses. Aside from the co-op play, there is plenty more in store for the “Dragonball Xenoverse 2” players. That includes enhanced and new online modes, more quests, and new systems for rare item drops. Among the rare items to expect include costumes and accessories.

Open Beta set

With the hype that the “Dragonball Xenoverse 2” trailer has generated, players can’t wait for its official release on Oct. 25. Europe-based gamers get a big bonus with an open beta reportedly happening before that.

This means that they get the chance to explore “Conton City” and see what lies ahead on the “Expert Missions. Details for the open beta are expected to be announced soon.

Majin Vegeta rises

One of the main villains that players will come across is Majin Vegeta. He is the end-result of “Babidi” harnessing the evil in “Vegeta’s” heart, stronger and faster.

Open beta aside, the wait for “Dragonball Xenoverse 2” should be worth the wait. The game will be released with versions for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
