'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: Players Losing Interest Already? Niantic Alarmed Too?

Is "Pokemon Go" loosing its popularity in the past weeks? Or players are not too tied up in the game anymore? Regardless of what other people call it, the game is quickly dropping surveys these past few days and many marketing companies are now starting to get so concerned by the fact that the game might lose its edge and will soon collapse.

A report from Bloomberg has revealed that the "Pokemon Go" craze has already worn out in the past weeks. The numbers are dropping down faster than Niantic's speed in coming up with new updates to keep players glued to "Pokemon Go" game.

The report further stated that this experience is normal with a mobile game to lose a number of players in a month and the way the company controlled its record when it release in July was impressive.

"Pokemon Go" had lost 45 Million active users in the daily operation of the game, but still has 30 Million subscribers as of now. The 15 Million lost in the past month can have a devastating effect with the game developers. Meanwhile, "Pokemon Go" also has a steady decline in number of downloads, engagement time, and time playing with the mobile game.

There are a number of reasons why players started to lose interest in "Pokemon Go." One reason is because Niantic started to block all third party apps that interfere with the gameplay and permanently ban players who cheat in the game.

Another reason for the depleting ratings is the fact that Niantic is adding the missing features, such as the trading feature and missing Legandary Birds, of "Pokemon Go" later than what fans have expected. But, so far, it is all just rumors and the game developers still have no confirmation on the features to be added in "Pokemon Go."

Despite its depleting ratings, Niantic still promises a much improved "Pokemon Go" game in the months to come, which could possibly bring back the players who have given up already. The latest "Pokemon Go" update features a free pokemon appraisal that lets players figure out what pokemons are best at doing certain things in the game.
