"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" lets a player live a virtual life as some sort of physically enhanced cyborg with superhuman capabilities. It is basically a role-playing game set in the distant future where ordinary but willing humans are enhanced with implants or prosthetics.
These give them superhuman abilities such as walking quieter, hack computers with minds, shooting better and a whole lot more. These, however, have limits in the new installment in the Deus Ex franchise since a player's system can overclock unless something else is shut down.
Attack of the Fanboy gives several detailed tips on how to hack successfully, which plays a vital role in the game. While the larger part would depend on how a player goes about in doing things in the game, hacking will either be an option or the main line of operations. It is to be noted that this new game features a revamped hacking mini-game as compared to its predecessors.
Early in the game, hacking will be pretty simple since there will not be too many nodes and the path looks straight. Each network will display a security level which gauges how difficult it will be for a player to hack such. If a player plans to hack often, it is advised that he focuses his Praxis Points on Hacking Capture, Hacking Fortify and Hacking Stealth augmentations to make attempts easier.
In hacking, the end goal is to connect a player's hacking line from his starting IO Port and have it connected to all of the green registry nodes. A player will encounter different types of nodes, and how strong each node is will determine the chance that a player will be spotted for trying to capture them. If a player gets caught, the security gets triggered and will block his path; if it reaches the IO Port then the hacking has failed.
Mashable recommends that Hacking Capture should be the top priority aug, since it is the one which dictates which devices a player can and cannot hack. Stealth should be next in line since remaining invisible gets harder as the hacks get more and more difficult and advanced. Hacking fortify should be last since it can help a player better on with higher level hacks and will benefit the player later in the game.
