Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are now expecting their second child after welcoming their first kid, Spurgeon. The couple is now pretty excited to see their new baby coming February, although the 23-year-old star promised not to get pregnant again.
Jessa Duggar Wants To Adopt A Child Instead Of Giving Birth?
In an interview with People, Jessa Duggar revealed that she almost got traumatized after being in roughly 48 hours of labor with Spurgeon. In fact, since then, she thought of only adopting their next child and not to get pregnant ever again. "I told him while I was in labor, 'babe, we are not having any more kids after this,' we are adopting all the rest," she said.
To recall, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have been opened to the idea of adopting a child, but the birth of Spurgeon postponed all the plans, Us Weekly reported. Also, the adoption organizations have a policy that a couple who have their own child should at least be already nine months old before they adopt another kid.

Anyhow, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are very grateful to the coming of another baby. "We are overjoyed to announce that [their nine-month-old son] Spurgeon has a new title in life as 'big brother!' the pair said in a statement. Ben Seewald, on the other hand, is wishing their child to be God fearing and humble. He, too, wants his kid to be as modest as he can be and can easily get along with people no matter what their stand in life is.
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald got married in November 2014, while the television personality gave birth in the same month of 2015, In Touch Weekly cited. The couple now sees 2017 as a great year for their family and seeing their eldest child to be a good older brother. They even gushed that they are now longing to see their new baby and Spurgeon's reaction when he sees his little sibling.
