'Pokemon GO' Latest News: Update Leaks Reveal Hints On Upcoming Trading System, New Legendaries

A new leak provided more details about "Pokemon Go." There were more hints on how the trading system, legendary Pokemon and boosts will be implemented in future updates.

Leaksters discovered references to trade search, trade offer, trade response and trade result, leading to speculations that players can look for eligible trades or offer their own Pokemon to trade in "Pokemon Go." The offers will most likely come with responses, which players can agree to, arriving at a final trade result. The results may be saved by both "Pokemon Go" trainers and the game developer.

International Business Times noted that it is still uncertain whether the search function can be used regardless of the distance between "Pokemon Go" trainers, or limited by distance. Many opined that trades may only happen when two "Pokemon Go" players are within a certain radius, in the same manner that wild Pokemon are caught.

Fans were particularly excited to get more hints that legendary Pokemon may soon become available in "Pokemon Go." One string stated activity catch legend Pokemon, which can mean that Niantic Labs is working on introducing legendaries. There may even be a special animation whenever players capture any of these creatures. Previously, Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno were spotted in the game code, but fans remain hopeful that Mew and Mewtwo will be part of a future update.

SlashGear reported that there are rumors that "Pokemon Go" will soon include boosts in rejuvenation. The leak revealed links to spicy, cool and floral types. Spicy may be used to draw fire and electric-type Pokemon, cool may spawn water and ice-types, while floral may bring in bug and grass Pokemon. These items may soon become available in the Pokemon Go store. Other references include forts, buddy Pokemon and potential VR support.

The official launch date of the rumored features in "Pokemon Go" has yet to be announced. The latest update was launched on Aug. 23, 2016 which included a new appraisal feature that determines the individual stat values of Pokemon. Nests were transferred to various areas as well. More updates and details on "Pokemon Go" are expected soon.
