‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: New Changes Anew With September Game Patch

Niantic is expected to roll out a new patch soon for “Pokemon Go." Following a cycle where the company releases new updates every two weeks.

Thus far, we have seen patches addressing tracking and spawns as well as improving in-game features like ‘Sightings’ and customization. Seeing how “Pokemon Go” is a game far from perfect, there is no telling which part of the augmented reality game Niantic plans to improve on next.

Recently, the biggest add was the ‘Pokemon Appraisal’ feature that starred for the 0.35.0 patch update. As mentioned in a previous post, the new feature offers “Pokemon Go” players to interact with team leaders and improve on their attacks and defenses in-game.

Pokemon Trading feature coming?

One of the possible features for the next “Pokemon Go” update is a trading and trainer vs. trainer feature. If true, this should be something to lure back players with reports that the game has reached its peak and has been on the decline as far as daily active users are concerned, Bloomberg reported.

Will the Legendary Bird fly in?

Another wish that “Pokemon Go” players are seriously hoping for are the three “Legendary Birds." It is believed that there are three actually in existence in the game though they have been kept out of the mix for now. However, hints that the “Legendary Birds” could be flying soon with (unofficial) photos currently being leaked online.

Further improvement on gameplay

While the “Legendary” characters are good news, the fact remains that there are bugs in the game that still need addressing. The ‘Nearby’ feature could use some tweaking and performance issues could still be improved.

This could be one of the reasons behind the steady decline of players or perhaps because the cheating tools have been slowly addressed. Either way, there are still players hooked on to “Pokemon Go” and the numbers could jump once again once Niantic addresses the major concerns.
