‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: Game Cancellation Or Delayed?

‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: Game Cancellation Or Delayed?

Creativity is key towards the success of any endeavor, online games included. So with word that “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” is canceled is technically a ploy somewhere in that direction.

A look at the “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location’s” official website renders a message that the game has been canceled ‘due to leaks.' But for a game that has garnered huge success, it seems a bit odd that Scott Cawthon would nix the game all together just like that.

Hence, the whole thing is seen nothing more than a publicity stunt to further hype “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location." He could be buying time or using this route to cover up the fact that the game will be delayed.

A Mystery for a Mystery?

The first thing that comes to mind is that Cawthon is pretty much aware of the leaks coming out left and right. Most are of course unofficial though some could be getting close.

There is a chance that Cawthon may have found some rumors on “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” to be too close for comfort as he rethinks his strategy and comes up with something different. This could be a major change in gameplay or possibly new animatronics in the mix.

Further adding the belief that “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” is not canceled is the fact that the game is still available on the Steam Store. It has not been pulled nor have there been notes explaining that the game’s future is dead.

Then again, the Scott Games is not solely about “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location." There are other games in the mix so it could be referring to someone else.

In the end, it will be all about how one analyzes the message on the website. For all we know, it could be part of the game itself.
