Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage Confirmed as Next DLC for Borderlands 2

In a tweet echoing the old arcade beat 'em up Bad Dudes, the CEO, looking a lot like a cross between Randy Savage and Mike Haggar, asked gamers, "ARE YOU A BADASS ENOUGH BADASS TO SURVIVE "MISTER TORGUE'S CAMPAIGN OF CARNAGE"? I'M LEGIT CURIOUS CAUSE I DUNNO YOU THAT WELL." Just Gearbox's way of confirming the next Borderlands 2 DLC.

The DLC was hinted after a NeoGaf user posted the following trophies online:

1 Bronze - Explosive - Complete the mission "Long Way To The Top".
1 Silver - Motorhead - Completed all Campaign of Carnage side missions.
1 Gold - Obsessed - Collected 10 pictures of Moxxi in Campaign of Carnage.

Looking at some of Mr. Torgue's past tweets leads you to a colorful Torgue advertisement for their weaponry. The maniacal voice providing narration is likely Mr. Torgue himself.

Now I'm wondering if we should be looking at some of the other manufacturers for some more DLC clues.

No other information is yet available for what the DLC will include, but Torgue's weapons and their always explosive bullets are virtually guaranteed, and if the trophies are any indication, likely some more "revealing" shots of Mad Moxxi. Don't tell me Torgue's another ex of hers...

Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage marks the third piece of DLC for Borderlands 2, the first being the new character, Gaige the Mechromancer, which was then followed by the first major expansion, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, which took the vault hunters Jolly Roger style to an entirely new area of Pandora, a former oceanic resort that's now a barren wasteland called Oasis. The DLC added new Pandoran pirate characters, missions, trophies / achievements, currency, enemy types, and, just like Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford hinted at, a new vehicle called a sand skiff, (seen below) inspired by the Star Wars vehicle

After Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Gearbox has two more add-on campaigns scheduled to release in the coming months.

Speaking with GamZone, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford said, "We are just getting started and have incredible momentum to improve and add to the game all the way through the holiday season and beyond. We can't wait to show everyone what more we have in store for Borderlands 2."
