'Xiaomi Mi Air Notebook' Latest News & Updates: Apple's Tight Contender, Better Than Macbook Pro 2016?

Xiaomi has been busy creating new technologies that could level up in the current technology competition. With the upcoming release of Apple's new Macbook Pro 2016, Xiaomi has its own laptop/notebook that is now available.

According to the official site of Xiaomi, their new "Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" will have new upgraded specs that can match the new Macbook Pro 2016 by Apple. It is said to be a thin, lightweight and high-performance laptop with a Full HD display.The new "Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" will sport out a slim all-metal body with an ultra-narrow border. It will also have an 8GB RAM with a 256 GB SSD which could pass to be a gaming laptop.

"Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" is said to have a long battery life that could last up to 9.5 hours and will run in a 6-generation Intel Core i5 processor. This can also run graphic intensive games.The new "Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" is said to be available at a price of $999 based on its official website. With this amount it is obviously cheaper than the Macbook Air 2016 of Apple.  

Macbook Pro 2016 vs Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air

Based on MacWorld UK, the new Macbook Pro 2016 will have 400-500 PPI with 226 PPI on its previous models. While the "Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" has confirmed that it has a maximum 116 PPI with a 1080p full HD resolution.

But according to Mobile & Apps, when it comes to "Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" camera, it only has a limited 1 megapixel for 720p video calls. Although the Macbook Pro 2015 had the same resolution of its camera, it is said that it could be updated for its 2016 release.

When it comes to its price, the "Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air" will be perfect for those who are on a tight budget. Macbook Pro 2016 is rumoured to have a price starting from $1,119 up to $2,099 with its 2.5 Ghz 15 inch Retina.
