‘Pokemon Go’ Latest Tips & Tricks: How To Become A Successful Gym Leader

“Pokemon Go” is not all about capturing those elusive critters but also carving a name for fame. Capturing rare pocket monsters is good but there are other things one can do than leveling up.

“Pokemon Go” Gyms are something most have likely come across. It require a certain level to access (level 5) and the first thing that comes to mind is taking over. If for some reason the gym is not yet claimed, players can take over for any of the three teams (Mystic, Valor or Instinct).

However, staying in power as the gym leader is another. Usually it would require players to place the strongest “Pokemon Go” characters on their end to defend it from other players. But what if the gym is taken and you still want to try and see if you can successfully take over?

Making preliminary assessments and logistics

One thing that most “Pokemon Go” players may have noticed is that taking over gyms is easier said than done. With other players wanting to stay in power or try and overthrow existing players in power, it is important to have strong Pokemon characters and be battle-ready.

This includes being ready for six waves, usually, the selected “Pokemon Go” characters tasked to attack. Surely they will be the best that ambitious players will have to offer and making sure they are healthy and ready is a must.

Making sure that their health is at its best and being prepared with the necessary potions are included in the checklist. There is no telling if stronger Pokemon characters will challenge so it will all boil down to logistics and tactics.

As one can see, taking over gyms through battle is not a walk in the park. It will be the battle of the best of the best “Pokemon Go” players. But without a battle plan, even the strongest fall, “Pokemon Go” Gyms of which are no exception.
