There is no doubt that "Stranger Things" Season 2 is coming. Fans of the series have virtually turned into Demogorgons following the trail of blood when it comes to looking for hints on the show's renewal. Even the critics can't find anything bad to say about the Netflix series that turned the world Upside Down (heh) overnight. So why is there no confirmation about the "Stranger Things" renewal?

'Stranger Things' Season 2 Probably (GASP!) Not Happening At All?

It's absolutely unthinkable that Netflix would even consider cancelling "Stranger Things" Season 2. After all, the streaming giant has never cancelled a show after its first season. It would simply be impossible that Netflix would start the first season cancellation with such a successful show. So why is it taking so long to announce "Stranger Things" Season 2?

'Stranger Things' Season 2 Showrunners Taking Time Before Shooting New Season?

It is possible that Matt and Ross Duffer are slowing down before taking on "Stranger Things" Season 2. The showrunners have already shared some awesome ideas on what the new season will be like. However, the Duffer brothers might also be strategically taking hints from fans on what would be great for the series. In addition to that, the stars of the show might not be available at the moment.

'Stranger Things' Season 2 Stars Too Busy To Start Filming For New Season?

GamenGuide has already reported that Finn Wolfhard is currently filming the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's "IT". The actor who plays Mike Wheeler might not be available to start shooting "Stranger Things" Season 2 just yet. It is possible that Netflix is waiting until the Duffer brothers can confirm that all of the stars are onboard before greenlighting the second season.
