'Pokemon Go' Tricks, Latest News & Updates: Datamining Code Samples Reveal A New Location, How To Catch Legendaries

New code samples datamined from "Pokemon Go" hinted that there will be a new kind of location, a trading system and a method to catch legendary Pokemon. Since "Pokemon Go" launched in July 2016, fans have eagerly been waiting for the next features and activities to arrive.

Reddit user cokuspocus published a Reddit post that showed findings from a recent datamining effort. There were a number of references to new gameplay options, in-game items and "Pokemon Go" trading among trainers.

Some of the consumables listed were Spicy Incense, Cool Incense and Floral Incense. There are talks that these new "Pokemon Go" incense types will target certain types of Pokemon. Floral Incense will target grass Pokemon, Cool Incense will target ice types, while Spicy Incense will draw fire types.

GameRant revealed that the datamined code samples in "Pokemon Go" also showed references to a fort, with the terms "modifier" and "deploy." These were also spotted in other parts of the game's script, and not limited to gyms in "Pokemon Go." The forts may provide a new approach in the capture-and-hold approach used in gyms. These may even be related to the ability to capture legendary Pokemon.

The code samples further teased that legendary Pokemon will soon be introduced in "Pokemon Go." There were strings showing activities like catching legendary Pokemon, although the process may be different compared to catching regular creatures in the wild.

Finally, the new information also suggests that "Pokemon Go" will soon introduce the much-awaited trading system. There were strings referring to activities like search, offer, response and result. The terms provided "Pokemon Go" players some tips on how the entire exchange process may take place. It is still uncertain whether trading will be available only within a limited radius or among nearby players, or covers the entire world.

In the meantime, "Pokemon Go" has been going through a drop. Some players stated that there is not really much to do in the game, so Niantic Labs will need to introduce the new features in its augmented reality game quickly. Featuring the new "Pokemon Go" activities before 2016 ends will help bring back player enthusiasm.
