NBA 2K13 is one of our favorite sports titles of the year and features tight gameplay and some of the best off of the court features of any sports video game. The game is now coming to the recently release Nintendo Wii U and 2K Sports has released a new trailer to celebrate. You can check out the swishes, jams and alley-oops of the video after the story.

So how does NBA 2K13 stack-up on Nintendo's next generation machine? It seems that the game is on par with the version released on other consoles and it doesn't compromise any of the game's features.

IGN says, "Visually, it's completely on-par with the already released Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Feature parity is a plus, too, and it's quite nice - as with most Wii U games - to be able to play on the Gamepad screen without the need to turn on your TV at all. The few Wii U-exclusive options are hardly worth double-dipping over if you've already bought it for another console." IGN scores the game a 9.1-out-of-10.

One of the cool new features on the Wii U version of the game is the ability to coach your team with the GamePad instead of pausing the game. The GamePad also acts as a biometric scanner. At anytime during gameplay, gamers can scan the court on his or her TV with the GamePad to discover what players are hot or cold.

In our review of the game on Xbox 360, we said, "NBA 2K13 continues to solidify its spot among the best sports video game franchises of all-time."  We scored the game a 9-out-of-10 for "pure basketball euphoria."

No matter what console you get the game for, NBA 2K13 sports a new control system that repositions the game's dribbling moves to the right analog stick. The right stick is also still used for shooting but now requires gamers to hold down the left trigger to shoot.

The game also sports great presentation that features some of the best camera work in video game sports titles. The presentation includes pre-game player rituals, shots of famous landmarks and cheerleading routines.

Check out the new trailer below and tell us if you purchased NBA 2K13 with your brand new Wii U.
