'Pokemon Go' Cheats, Tips & Tricks, Latest News & Updates: Using Chance Calculator To Get Specific Pokemon Creatures

There is a new calculator in "Pokemon Go" that helps players determine their likelihood of catching certain types of Pokemon. The new tool was developed by Poke Assistant to indicate the level of difficulty in catching specific creatures in "Pokemon Go."

To use the "Pokemon Go" Catch Chance Calculator, players must initially enter the kind of Pokemon that they wish to capture. Next, they have to choose the kind of Poke Ball to use. There are currently three to choose from, namely a regular Poke Ball, a Great Ball or an Ultra Ball. "Pokemon Go" trainers will have to work with the size and color bars to acquire a visual representation of the perfect time to throw the Poke Ball. This will help increase their chances of successfully catching a specific Pokemon.

Heavy provided a sample graphic that presents what "Pokemon Go" players can acquire by placing a Dratini encircled by a yellow ring. The rings show the current level that the Pokemon is at. Pokemon with higher CP will be more difficult to capture. The trick in using the "Pokemon Go" Catch Chance Calculator is to throw the Poke Ball when the ring is as close to the creature as possible. In the sample graphic, Dratini was close to the upper portion of the ring, showing a 61 percent chance of catching it.

The tool is very effective in catching high-level Pokemon. Many "Pokemon Go" players spot rare creatures in the game. But they fail to catch it successfully due to lack of technique and information on the right kind of Poke Ball and the exact time to toss. Using a more powerful Poke Ball will increase a "Pokemon Go" trainer's chance of capturing high-level Pokemon. However, rare and high-level Pokemon will still be hard to capture, even with the aid of the Chance Calculator.

According to iTech Post, a green ring and Level 1 Pokemon are the easiest to capture. However, "Pokemon Go" developers cautioned that Poke Assistant's latest tool do not necessarily mean that players can capture any kind of Pokemon that they want. Generally, the "Pokemon Go" Catch Chance Calculator gives players a clearer concept about the game mechanics.
