The upcoming iMac 2016 is rumoured to be released by the end of this year. And there are reports stating that the Apple company will still follow the same trend for their release of the previous iMac which usually launch in October.

The upcoming Apple desktop, iMac 2016 will be called the iMac Pro 2016 according to iTech Post. The new iMac 2016 is said to have the latest Intel chipset which is the Kaby Lake.

If this Kaby Lake chipset will be confirmed, it is expected that the upcoming iMac 2016 can support USB 3.1 with Display Port 1.2 and a Thunderbolt 3 port. These ports can boost the overall performance of the iMac 2016. But according to Apple World Today, the rumoured processor will only be included in the iMac 2016 if the Kaby Lake chipset will be available on time.

CIO added that the new iMac 2016 will have a Polaris graphic card by AMD. This said graphic card can provide desktop users of Apple to have a brilliant graphics which is very suitable for high resolution games.

Furthermore, iMac 2016 is also expected to be available with VR features which can be experience using the Oculus Rift as reported by Tech Radar. The new desktop computer will also have flash storage option called Hybrid Fusion drives. These said drives will have greater than 512 GB for its storage capacity

The anticipated new Apple desktop, the iMac 2016 is said to be available for $1099. But as of the moment, the company Apple has yet confirm on any details and release date for their new iMac 2016.
