‘Attack on Titan’ Mobile Game Latest Rumors, Release Date & Update: App Set For Late 2016 Release

‘Attack on Titan’ Mobile Game Latest Rumors, Release Date & Update: App Set For Late 2016 Release

While most are tied up with the anime and films of “Attack on Titan”, there is actually an app happening soon. The word out is that a game for both iOS and Android users is in the development and this will be out before 2016 comes to a close.

Similar to the film rendition, the “Attack on Titan” mobile game will be action-packed. The game was a result of the collaboration between Funimation Entertainment, NGames Interactive and GameSamba, a promising game that should pose a challenge for gamers.

Proper timing, avoid being eaten

For those unfamiliar with “Attack on Titan”, the game is all about surviving against titans who invade the walls of the humans. Players will be tasked to use their wits and precision timing against the monsters and avoid being eaten.

Fending off the giants will not be easy. It is expected to include the same weapons (Vertical Maneuvering Equipment) that aid soldiers from moving swiftly from one place to the other. Agility will be key together with timing as they try to damage the nape of the titans, the weak spot as seen in the film and anime, Kotaku reported.

An offshoot of “Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom”?

Aside from the mobile app, there is the game console version titled “Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom”. The difference will likely be in the features where that console version will have the storylines.

There will be of course major differences seeing that the mobile game will have its limitations. Just the same, this should be a worthy app to get on mobile devices which should get potential gamers up and thinking.

With the right approach and some luck on the side, “Attack on Titan” mobile game should be something worth checking out. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more "Attack on Titan" news!
