‘Clash of Clans’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: September Update To Revive Sputtering Hopes

“Clash of Clans” was one of the popular mobile games available for play until the rise of “Pokemon Go” pushed it out of the limelight. Now, a massive update is reportedly set for September to hopefully get back on track.

According to various mediums, “Clash of Clans” will be more player-friendly and help guide players better. That includes educating players better on the game interface, something that went a bit too technical for some of the different things needed to keep up with other veteran players.

Players who have not yet reached Town Hall level 11 will receive the update, though Supercell may be adding a bit more. That includes big changes tied up to the Cannon levels (11 to 14) which could hint a change in offensive attacks.

Key Changes

Game strategies could be in for major changes that will require wise tactics on the end of the players. That includes frequency and timing of attacks, meaning players need to rest their troops on “Clash of Clans” before targeting their next prey.

Other game features like the miners (reportedly slower movement) and improved game graphics are in store, all of which should be worth the wait this month.

Supercell terms the update as huge, hopefully, something that will not disappoint. After spending a lot of time at the top, getting back the title of the top game in the mobile segment is easier said than done.

There is no official release date on the said patch other than it will be out this month. But the thing is that “Clash of Clans” needs to win back gamer interest, both the young and old who have walked towards the direction of other games.

“Pokemon Go” is easily one of them but the fact remains that updates are a need. Hopefully the ‘huge’ will be good as advertised for Supercell’s sake.
