Grand Theft Auto 5: Petition for PC Version Hits Over 100,000 Signatures

If they never did before, Rockstar should recognize PC gamers as an official demographic now.

After hitting the 47,000 signature mark just two days ago, the petition to bring Rockstar's new Grand Theft Auto game to PC has surpassed its original goal, receiving over 100,000 signatures.

Mike Julliard apparently took Dan Houser at his word when Houser said that Rockstar can can do what they want "wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market." A market's knocking Mr. Houser. Very loudly.

The petition now has a goal of 150,000 signatures, and given its track record, should be successful in a few short days.

If you want to see Grand Theft Auto V on PC, and/or haven't signed the petition yet, you can do so here.

Featuring three playable characters, a first for the series, Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond - from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.

Not much is known about the story, but Rockstar has confirmed there will be multiple endings, and the story will be about the same length as Red Dead Redemption at about 25 - 30 hours. Keep in mind, that's before the massive amount of secondary things to do, so this should be a monster of a game.

Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V will release worldwide in the spring of 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Rockstar is offering a free t-shirt for anyone who pre-orders from the Rockstar Warehouse.
