'Pokemon Go 2' Release Date, News & Updates: Stock Up On 2nd Generation Pokemon Candies Now To Prepare Pokemon Go Evolutions

"Pokemon Go 2" fans are advised to collect 2nd generation Pokemon Candies now to prepare for future evolutions. Several new Pokemon will arrive in "Pokemon Go 2" and players will find it easier to evolve these if they have enough 2nd generation Candies.

Some of the "Pokemon Go 2" creatures that will become available include Espereon and Umbreon. Eevee can evolve into either of the two new creatures in "Pokemon Go 2," requiring at least 25 Candies, respectively. Espereon can have a top CP of 1911, while Umbreon can have a maximum CP of 1938.

iTechPost reported that Blissey will arrive in "Pokemon Go 2," which is the evolved form of Chansey, with a top CP of 921. The Pokemon is rare and a great addition to any trainer's collection, albeit not an effective combatant. Chansey will need 50 2nd generation Candies to evolve into Blissey.

iDigitalTimes wrote that Porygon can evolve into Porygon 2 in "Pokemon Go 2," which will require 50 Candies. Porygon 2 has a maximum CP of 2290. Onix can turn into Steelix, with a maximum CP of 1754, but needs 50 Candies. With 100 Candies, Horsea can evolve into Kingdra, with a top CP of 2300. Zubat can evolve into Crobat, with a top CP of 1997, needing 100 Candies in the process.

Scyther can evolve into Scizor with 50 Candies in "Pokemon Go 2."Scizor is slower but is bulkier with higher attack power. Poliwag can transform into Politoed for about 100 Candies, which is the same amount needed to evolve Poliwhirl into Poliwrath. Oddish can evolve into Bellossom for 100 Candies.

With 100 Candies, Slowpoke can evolve into Slowking in "Pokemon Go 2," with a max CP of 2232. Slowking is among the strongest creatures in the game. Other powerful creatures that will encourage "Pokemon Go 2" trainers to gather 2nd generation Candies include Meganium, Feraligatr, Urasring, Typhlosion, Tyranitar and Octillery.

Niantic has not announced the official launch date of "Pokemon Go 2" yet, but many expect it to arrive before the end of 2016. Players are looking forward to a number of Legendary Pokemon in future updates, but it is still uncertain whether these will be available at the same time that "Pokemon Go 2" is released. More updates and details are expected soon.
