‘Pokemon GO’ Buddy System Release Date, News & Updates: Buddy Pokemon Feature Promises Rewards Other Than Candies? More Details Revealed

Nintendo has released more details about the "Pokemon GO" Buddy System. As millions of trainers are desperate to get their hands on the newest update, expected to hit app stores soon, for now they have to be satisfied with the new details revealed.

The "Pokemon GO" Buddy System will allow trainers to walk with their favorite Pokemon. Apart from being a fun way to connect with one's virtual Pokemon friend, the system will also provide candies for walking in real life. It was initially thought that the system's only offering is the candies.

However, the official Pokemon website has revealed an interesting detail about the "Pokemon GO" Buddy System. It not only mentions the fact that the Buddy Pokemon would appear alongside the Trainer avatar and provide rewards including Candy but the statement also mentions an added Buddy Pokemon feature coming soon.

Moreover, the statement suggests that Trainers can expect more rewards other than just candies plus a mysterious feature not yet revealed by Nintendo. Naturally "Pokemon GO" fans started speculating on this statement wondering what the added benefits can be while they walk with their favorite Pokemon.

Many believe that the "Pokemon GO" Buddy System may also provide PokeBalls and potions for traveling certain kilometers. Some even mentioned an increase in creator's happiness like that in the classic versions. Players can choose any Pokemon to be their buddy. However, it is beneficial to pick according to the ones that can evolve into rare creatures or simply go for the rare pocket monsters itself.

There are fears that the Buddy Pokemon feature may not live up to the massive fan expectation. This is because fans would be happier with Candy than anything else. For example, if a "Pokemon GO" player walks a few kilometers with a Lapras and then get a potion and not Candy, that would be heart-wrenching and terribly frustrating.

The "Pokemon GO" Buddy System can be launched any time now as it has been two weeks since the last update, writes Heavy. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for the latest news and updates about the "Pokemon GO" Buddy System.
