'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Latest News & Updates: New Trailer Announced; Check Out The Latest Gameplay Footage on PS4 Pro [Watch]

New gameplay footage of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" by BioWare was recently launched. The game developer also hinted that another one might be available sometime in November 2016.

During the PlayStation Meeting event by Sony, BioWare showcased a new video from "Mass Effect: Andromeda." The footage presented the actual gameplay on the PlayStation Neo. BioWare also confirmed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will include PS4 Pro support when it becomes available. This means that gamers can look forward to playing the game in 4K or HDR.

GameSpot noted that in the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" gameplay video, Ryder, the main protagonist, was exploring a cavernous place. His teammates detailed what was in front of Ryder. Everything in the footage was taken in-game. The character moved and interacted with the environment, which included holographic effects, advanced computers and a huge vertical beam of light. The narrator emphasized that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is still in development and the video is only a minor portion of the full game.

In another GameSpot report, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" features a distinct story from the original trilogy. Ryder will attempt to find a new home for humans and the setting has been changed from the Milky Way to the Andromeda Galaxy. Ryder assumes that the new galaxy will have livable new planets for the human race to transfer. BioWare stated that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will also include new creatures, enemies and civilizations. Humans being the aliens is part of the core themes, which also explains why the setting has been changed.

BioWare is reportedly using the Frostbite engine to take advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4 Pro. According to the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" developer diary, featuring studio general manager Aaryn Flynn, there will be a brand new trailer on November 7. There is no official launch date for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." The game was previously slated to release in 2016. However, the studio announced that the release schedule has been postponed to early 2017. BioWare added that they wanted to guarantee that they can deliver a great game for fans.
