WhatsApp Latest News & Update: Video Calling Feature Now Available on iOS?

After the popular messaging app, WhatsApp altered their Terms and Conditions, their newest update has now been for both iOS and Android users. The latest WhatsApp Update aims to integrate with the upcoming iOS 10. Apple's iOS 10 is scheduled to make its first major, public launch.

These updates include Lock screen access, rich notifications and the Siri API. The Siri API according to First Post will support the Siri application in sending messages and call, both audio and video. However, WhatsApp has not confirmed any of the video calling rumors. Whether they meant a video message or video calling, WhatsApp has yet to confirm the rumors.

Looking through the latest update, one of the major feature in the latest WhatsApp Update is the user's ability to respond on messages while the screen is locked. This feature enables faster and more efficient way of reading and replying messages to users.

A new widget on the latest WhatsApp Update for iOS has also been added. The 'Today Widget' can be access by long pressing the WhatsApp icon. It enables user to view their latest contacts and chat list. This, giving them faster way to communicate with the people on the list again.

For the Android users, the latest WhatsApp Update involved the addition of Drawing Tools in the feature. The latest WhatsApp Update for Android also includes, the division of the contact list into two. According to the report, the top portion of the list features the frequent contacts and the lower part features the regular list of contacts.
